Marine Pure Block

Ammonia, Nitrite and Nitrate Removal

Primarily designed to provide deep anaerobic zones for de-nitrification in passive systems.

Live rock substitute-popular among reef hobbyists as a substitute for live rock because it reduces nitrates more efficiently without harming the environment.

Use in sumps, stacked in extra-large filters.

NPX BioplasticsĀ®

NPX BioplasticsĀ® granular media made from biodegradable polymers. For use in a fluidized reactor. The slow release of organic food from these plastics promotes the development of bacteria that assimilate nitrate and phosphate. These bacteria can be harvested by protein skimmers, so that the nitrate and phosphate levels are naturally reduced. The bacteria are also a food source for filter-feeding invertebrates such as corals, clams, sponges, and feather dusters.

Use with Bactiv8 NPX to promote rapid assimilation of nitrate in saltwater aquariums.

OCTO Bio Spheres

Bio-Spheres are specifically encapsulated pellets with a 100% pure biological polymer solid carbon. These pellets when use with our Bio ā€“Churn Reactor, will slowly release the polymer carbon within the marine water which will encourage the growth of beneficial bacteria and enzymes on the pellets surface.

Bio-Spheres provides a food source required for beneficial bacteria to reproduce and reduce nitrates and phosphates.

PhosBan Reactor 150™

The PhosBan Reactor 150 is designed with the upflow principle to achieve the most efficient use of PhosBanĀ® or other chemical filter media. By pushing water from the bottom upward through a dispersion plate, it forces an even distribution of water through the media, and prevents channeling. It can be mounted hanging on the back of the aquarium or below the aquarium. Hose barb connections are for 1/2 inch i.d. tubing. Includes 1/2 inch barbed ball valve for flow control, and hose clamps. Use with any pump having a capacity between 100 and 250 gph, but regulate the flow rate to the recommended 20 to 30 gallons per hour with the included ball valve.

PhosBanĀ® Reactor 550™

The PhosBan Reactor 550 is designed with the upflow principle to achieve the most efficient use of PhosBanĀ® or other chemical filter media. By pushing
water from the bottom upward through a dispersion plate, it forces an even
distribution of water through the media, and prevents channeling. It can be
mounted hanging on the back of the aquarium or below the aquarium. Includes ball valve for regulating flow, and flexible connection fittings that rotate 180 degrees to allow a perfect custom fit to your installation. The threaded lid design makes servicing quick and easy. One reactor for aquariums up to 600 gallons.

REEF-SPEC™ CARBON

Red Sea REEF-SPEC™Ā Carbonā€™s granule size and its micro/macro porous structure, ensures a very high total adsorption capacity and rapid extraction of the specific organic pollutants that are found in Reef aquariums.

REEF-SPEC™Ā Carbon has extremely low phosphate leaching and minimal ash content while also not affecting the pH of aquarium water.
Red Sea REEF-SPEC™Ā Carbon needs replacing less frequently than carbons that are not reef-specific or are of a lower quality and represents an effective, cost-efficient solution for providing the very best water quality in marine & reef aquariums.
